Nance Schmidt, MSc., Research & Product Development
Ms. Schmidt is a natural medicine and holistic health advisor and educator in a leading Canadian natural food company, and owner of a functional medicine-based, research-focused health consulting company.
Nance leads Next Level research and product development across all three target markets: fortified foods and nutraceuticals, psychedelics and pharmaceuticals.
An earth scientist with 20+ years of experience in academic and industry research, Nance’s career transition into functional medicine began more than a decade ago. Her focus today is on nutritional neuroscience, mental health and nutraceutical delivery mechanisms, with particular emphasis on BiopsychoactiveTM compounds and their mechanisms of action.
Through her consulting company, Nance forms partnerships with clients to explore root causes of illness, specializing in integrative oncology, complex chronic conditions and autoimmune diseases. She also supports optimized physical and cognitive performance through design and delivery of individualized wellness plans.
Tony Haddeman, Products & Operations – USA
Tony Haddeman, Products & Operations – USA Mr. Haddeman has 15 years of experience in product development and operations with a strong focus on nutritional markets.
He is President of TD Consulting, which specializes in all aspects of product management for nutritional products, including product development/flavouring, production oversight and coordination, brand management, packaging engineering, contract negotiations with manufacturers, purchasing, and coordination of warehouse and fulfilment requirements per CFR/FDA regulations and cGMP standards.
He has provided independent consultation services for companies such as Trident Brands, Inc. and Sentia Wellness, and has held senior executive and operations roles at companies such as UniWell Labs, Sarpes Beverages and Precision Formulations.
Tony is HAACP Certified-FSNS; trained in multiple ERP systems including BatchMaster, Virtual Office and Fishbowl; experienced with EDI systems including TrueCommerce; and meets 3rd party cGMP requirements including SQF and NSF for Manufacturer’s per CFR/FDA.
Curtis Lynn, Advisor – Functional Beverages
Mr. Lynn is a proven executive and entrepreneur committed to ventures that make society and the world a better place. His passion for coffee spurred him to co-found Modern Method Coffee Roasters in 2016 with the vision to create a quality product that utilizes 3rd wave practices that have a focus on quality and sustainability.
Being intrigued by the variables that play into modulating coffee’s flavour, Curtis is always looking at new ways to bring a unique yet approachable coffee to the market.
Curtis also serves as the Vice President of Innovation with WestGen Technologies, where he is developing new green technologies to solve the emission issue in the global energy market. He has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry, where he has been responsible for projects worldwide.
Harbaksh Sidhu, Advisor – Extraction & Manufacturing
Mr. Sidhu has spent 25 years in design, development and manufacturing of equipment for supercritical and CO2 technology.
He was President and partial owner of Thar Instruments, the largest lab to pilot scale manufacturing of supercritical fluid extraction, supercritical fluid chromatography, and reaction and high-pressure systems. Thar Instruments sold over 1,000 systems for a wide range of applications with their primary market being the pharmaceutical industry.
Harbaksh holds five issued patents in the area of supercritical fluids and oversaw development of the entire product portfolio of SFE and SFC systems at Thar Instruments. He was the General Manager of Purification Business Operations at Waters Corporation after Thar Instruments’ acquisition by Waters and was the Program Director of the award-winning UPC2 analytical platform.
Martin Ernst, Advisor – Europe
Mr. Ernst has over 25 years of experience in international sales. By the age of 30 he had become one of the top salespeople out of over 4 million sales reps across an international corporation.
As a worldwide trainer in live and online events, he has years of experience in the neuro sector, including neuro feedback, brain entrainment, meditation, breath trainings and more. His passion for health and the nutrition sector has become his business focus. With most people merely kept alive over the last third of their lives with little to no enjoyment, Martin’s passion is to change this reality through his activities as a Health Span Coach.
To date he has been involved with the development, marketing and training for multiple product ideas, and has been a silent investor and mentor for several startups. He decided to act as a first-time advisor due to his belief that Next Level Health Sciences will make a positive change and impact in the world.
Asa Scott, Advisor – UK
Mr. Scott has over 2 decades of experience across the areas of finance, raising money, sales and product development.
He worked for 20+ years in the banking Industry, 9 of which were spent in sales/trading at HSBC Bank, the largest bank in Europe at the time, covering over 250 clients from several sectors across Europe. More recently, Asa has been working within the rapidly growing cannabis industry for the past 3 years. His primary focus has been in the areas of sales and product development. He has also participated in and helped organize various worldwide charity events that have raised substantial amounts of money for charities and positive causes.
Asa’s interest in Next Level Health Sciences stems from his passion for health, nutrition and well being combined with helping people achieve their goals. His extensive UK-based network will enable him to help advance Next Level’s penetration into the UK market while supporting our ongoing development of technologies and products that improve lives.
